“I have questions.”
“Of course you do.”
“Who do I ask?”
“Is that your first question?”
(“what?”)
“May I suggest you ask a clown. They can not lie…on second thought..Never trust a clown.
Bottom line: it depends on the clown.”
Let’s start over:
WHERE IS THE THEATER?
The echo theatre company is part of the Atwater Theater Village located at 3269 Casitas Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90039.
WHERE ARE MY TICKETS?
“Great question! Charlie has them. “
“Who’s Charlie?”
Don’t listen to them (that was one of the clowns typing). Your tickets will be waiting for you at our will call desk in front of your theatre’s entrance 1/2 an hour prior to curtain.
IS THE MATERIAL SUITABLE FOR ALL AGES?
No. There are adult themes and language involved. I suggest you use your discretion.
But I heard there were clowns?
Not clowns in the birthday party /circus sense. But also not clowns in the Stephen King/Horror film/’killer clowns’ sense either. Our clowns reach back to theatre in its original source. A bit of Comedia-de-arte with a twist.
And, of course, many of our shows don’t employ clowns at all. But to your first question, pretty much ALL our shows have been written with an adult audience in mind.
Back to the clowns; which productions include clowns and which ones don’t?
You will recognize us by our Theatre Ghosts logo. If you see the clown nose… yeah, there may be clowns.

TALK TO ME ABOUT SEATING…
Do you have a Late Seating Policy?
There is unfortunately no late seating for our plays at the Atwater Village Theater. Tickets not picked up by show time may be released to a standby line the night of the show.
I can’t make it to the show. Can I have a refund or exchange?
All ticket sales are final. There are no refunds. Occasionally we’ll be able to help you exchange your ticket to another night. To make this inquiry, please email theboxoffice@echotheatercompany.com.
The show is sold out! Can I join a waitlist?
Yes! Our ticketing site Ludus give the option to sign up for a waitlist, or you may come to the theater in person beginning 45 minutes prior to showtime and join our waitlist.
At show time, we will begin admitting patrons from the waitlist in order until we run out of unassigned seats.
ARE YOU ADA COMPLIANT?
Why? Who told you differently?
Short answer: Yes: We are ADA compliant. However, seating is limited, so do let us know if you require any accommodations so we can best attend to your needs.
AND DARE I ASK ABOUT PARKING?
Ahhhhhhhhh yes. Parking … in LA. That kind of sums it up, doesn’t it? There is ample street parking (unlike Downtown LA) but alas, no dedicated parking lot. There is free parking in the Atwater Crossing lots (labelled ATX) and along Casitas Avenue. Street parking can be limited dependent on other events in the area. Be sure to leave yourself plenty of time to park and make it to the theater.
CAN I TAKE IN MY BAGS?
“Why do you have a bag? What’s in your bag? Groceries? TUNA FISH on rye!?”
Hand bags or purses, of course can be brought into the theater. Also, food and beverages purchased from our concessions are allowed inside the theater. Outside bottles of water are also allowed inside the theater.
SO, WHERE IS A GOOD HOTEL NEARBY?
Yeah…. I don’t really know much on that one… I’ll ask around and update this when I have more info but… why would you want to stay in town?
WHERE’S THE BEST DINING NEARBY?
Trick question:
That depends upon your pallet now, doesn’t it? There are a smorgasbord of delicacies, specialties and fast food within walking, let alone driving distance.
